What is the ESFRBC?

The Empire State Fellowship of Regular Baptist Churches is an association of more than 180 churches across New York State with the same doctrinal position. Fall, Winter and Spring Bible Conferences are held with the Annual Business meeting occurring during the October (Fall) Conference. Many other rallies, workshops and special conferences are provided for youth, adults, pastors throughout the year. Rev. Craig Golden is State Representative (Endicott, N.Y.). The Council of Ten oversees the program of the Fellowship and are elected to a two year term of office. A chairman, secretary and treasurer are appointed by the council yearly.

Our State Representative

To contact our current State Representative, Craig Golden, or to view his itinerary, check this page. Craig Golden has faithfully served the ESF since 1988. Earlier this year Craig shared his plans to retire in 2012.

Dr. Jim Vogel was approved as the new state representative for the Empire Association of Regular Baptist Churches at the October 2011 Fall Conference. Vogel, who currently ministers as the associate national representative for the GARBC, will assume his new duties in April 2012. To learn more about Dr. Vogel click here.

The Empire State Fellowship of Regular Baptist Churches is an association of more than 180 churches in New York, with 136 of these also in fellowship with the GARBC. The group is led by a Council of Ten who oversees the program of the Fellowship; members are elected to a two-year term of office during the October meetings. Jim Vogel will be the fifth state representative for the group, succeeding Craig Golden (1988–2012), Russell Camp (1975–1987), Milo Thompson (1971–1975), and L. Duane Brown (1965–1970).
